I've dedicated my life to education and the public school system. As a young child, my Mother always taught me the importance of getting a quality education and how that would lead me to a successful future. To this day, I still hold that advice close to my heart. As homeowners in Whittier and a important stakeholders in the community, my wife Lupe and I believe in strong family values, respect for others, and that a child's success at school begins in the home. "An involved parent equals an involved student." I'm currently in my 15th year working in the public education system as a school administrator and teacher at the elementary, middle, and high school levels.
My administrative experience has been as a Principal, Assistant Principal, and Dean of Student Services. My teaching experience has been as a Middle School and Adult School Teacher.
I received my Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology/Physical Education from California State University, Los Angeles; my Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from the University of La Verne; and currently working on my Doctorate Degree (Ed.D.) in Educational Leadership.
My wife Lupe is an elementary teacher.
